Problem
Routes built in Excel, driver information passed by phone, and route cost known only afterwards - or never. There was no view of what was on the yard and what was on the road.
Scope of work
A dispatch app, yard and driver apps, a shipment scanner, a shared model package, a nightly job server, and a product website.
Solution
The dispatcher plans routes and stops, manages the fleet and forklifts, and has an alert centre, reports, KPIs, and chat with drivers and the yard. The yard works from a loading plan with pallet photos and a seal register, and drivers see their route, deliveries, and pickups. Everything runs on a shared Dart model package and an Appwrite backend. At night FoxTrans API v2 runs ABC Track optimisation and computes the cost of every route via OSRM with fleet parameters, then sends inspection and insurance alerts in the morning.
