Client

A law firm based in Kielce since 2006, with over a dozen lawyers, handling business and private cases before courts across Poland.

Problem

The old domain redirected to a Facebook profile and the content survived only in an archive. The firm serves two very different groups - businesses recovering debts and individuals defending against claims - and needed a site that speaks to each separately and can be updated in-house.

Scope of work

Content recovery from the archive and a rewrite of the about section, visual identity built on the firm's seal and wordmark, public site, CMS panel, contact form, SEO, and Apache deployment.

Solution

Framework-free PHP 8, SQLite, and a small custom MVC - no npm and no build step, so deployment is a file upload. The home page immediately splits businesses from individuals and explains pricing and practice areas. The panel edits every text, the team, news, case descriptions, and reference scans; before saving a case it warns about details that could identify it. Form enquiries go to the mailbox and the database at once, so nothing is lost even if the server fails to send mail.

Key features

  • Two paths: businesses and individuals
  • Practice areas with dedicated subpages
  • Anonymised case descriptions with a filter and an identifying-data warning
  • Scanned reference letters with a preview
  • Paginated blog and a database-generated sitemap
  • CMS panel with ZIP backup
  • Form with CSRF, honeypot, and rate limiting
  • WCAG AA contrast and prefers-reduced-motion support

Business outcome

The firm has its own website instead of a Facebook redirect, and updates content, cases, and references itself from the panel - without a developer and without risking client data exposure.
